Our earth is in its way and there is all likelihood of a collision. What can be done to prevent this  collision? Ans.  If an asteroid is heading towards the Sun and might collide with Earth, scientists will study its path to figure out if it's really going to hit us. If they find that it is going to hit us, they might try to change the asteroid's path by sending a spacecraft to it.
