Q.2 Use your brain power !

Make up a food chain :

Frog, kite, worm, snake, grass.

Ans. Grass - Worm - Kite - Frog - Snake.

Q.3 Answer the following questions.

(a) What is a food chain? Give an example of it.

Ans. A food chain is a way to show who eats whom in nature. It starts with plants, which make their own food. 3. Minerals: Provide support for plant roots.

4. Organic Matter: Provides nutrients and improves soil structure.

5. Air: Oxygen for root health and metabolism.

6. Microorganisms: Help with nutrient recycling and disease protection.
